About Rumie
Rumie is where I publish what actually happens when I use AI tools—not what their marketing pages promise. I’m an independent software analyst. Every guide on this site comes from my own accounts, my own screenshots, and my own bills. I started the site in 2026 after wasting too much time on “tutorials” written by people who clearly never opened the tool: pages that repeat the signup button, guess at prices, and skip the errors that actually stop you.
At a Glance
- All testing is first-hand: real accounts created with personal email and payment methods
- All screenshots are original, taken directly from the software during testing
- All pricing is current, verified against official pricing pages after major updates
- All guides include setup walkthroughs, pricing breakdowns, and troubleshooting steps
- No sponsored placements, no paid rankings, no vendor relationships
- Updated regularly: each guide shows the last verification date
How I Test AI Tools
Every tool I cover goes through the same process, the way you would use it:
- I create a real account with my own email and payment method. No review copies, no vendor access.
- I run the tasks the tool advertises, then note where it struggled or charged me more than expected.
- Every screenshot on this site is mine. Nothing is taken from the vendor’s website or another blog.
- I record the exact limits, prices, and error messages I hit, and check them again after major updates.
- When a fix works, I publish the exact steps. When nothing works, I say that too.
What You’ll Find Here
Three kinds of guides: setup and login walkthroughs, including the errors that block them; pricing breakdowns based on the plans currently listed on the official site; and troubleshooting notes for the problems support pages do not answer.
Editorial Standards
No sponsored placements. No paid rankings. A company cannot buy a better review on this site. If the free tier is good enough, I say so—even when the paid plan is the one everybody recommends. When facts change, I update the page, and the “Updated” date on each guide shows the last time I verified it.
